RL Environment Builder: Experienced QuickBooks User (Accounting and Sales Operations)

What We're Working On

We're building reinforcement learning environments grounded in real accounting and sales workflows, and we're looking for QuickBooks experts to help create them. These environments are used to train and evaluate AI models on the kind of financial work you do every day, so your hands on knowledge of how QuickBooks actually gets used is the whole point. The closer the environments are to real practice, the more useful they are.

How It Works

This is a hands on engagement, not a one off interview. Plan for at least two weeks of work, with the option to extend if it's a good fit on both sides. You'll help build RL environments and author the tasks that run inside them, drawing on your own QuickBooks workflows for revenue reporting, data entry, reconciliation, integrations, and the workarounds you've picked up along the way. Expect to iterate based on feedback from our team and document what you create so others can pick it up and run it. We'll get you set up with tooling and specs at kickoff, then you'll work through a queue of builds with regular check ins.

Who This Is For

This is for QuickBooks experts working in accounting, sales ops, or revenue roles. Deep, current experience with QuickBooks modules and integrations at a mid sized company is the main thing we're screening for, so staff accountants, finance managers, sales operations specialists, and corporate controllers are all a good fit. Prior experience creating tasks, evals, or training data for AI models is a strong plus, as is comfort writing clear step by step specs. If you've done RL environment work or annotation work for AI labs before, definitely mention it.
